Notes are encrypted on your device before sync. We only store scrambled data — we cannot read your notes (unless you send text to Ask AI with Ollama Cloud).

One password. Creating an account unlocks the vault on this device automatically. The account password and the vault password start as the same password. You can set a different vault password later in Settings. We cannot recover it.

At least 12 characters. This password encrypts your notes — we cannot recover it.

Password strength

Public beta: new accounts start on Pro (free for now) with 5 GB encrypted storage. After the beta, Basic is €2.99/month or €29/year (100 MB) and Pro is €6.99/month or €69/year (5 GB). Creating an account does not ask for a code. We email a verification code to this address, and you only enter it in Settings before encrypted backups are sent.
