Leaving Evernote? Keep your scans searchable, without your notes being readable on someone else’s server.
Deeperguard encrypts notes on your device before sync. Text recognition for receipts and PDFs runs in your browser. Compare Evernote’s current plans with Deeperguard pricing.

Cloud-first AI
Not zero-knowledge — see Evernote plans. Deeperguard stores ciphertext only (except Ask AI).
What you keep
Search, web access, offline
- Search inside scans — on-device OCR indexes text from photos and PDFs before encryption.
- Web access — use Deeperguard in the browser; add it to your home screen as a PWA.
- Offline — read and write in your local vault without a connection.
What’s different
Encryption, EU server, Ask AI
- Zero-knowledge by design — AES-GCM on your device; sync moves ciphertext (except Ask AI), not readable notes.
- Server in Vienna, Austria (EU) — operated by Schutten Invest (Netherlands) on netcup hosting.
- Ask AI exception — only when you send text to Ask AI with Ollama Cloud; it passes through our server to ollama.com without being stored.
Import
Moving your notes
An Evernote import is in the works. For now, export to Markdown or HTML from Evernote and paste or upload into Deeperguard. Standard Notes users can use the built-in Standard Notes backup import in Settings.
